While I had the vaccine and experienced no side effects, that doesn't mean they don't exist. There are so many factors to why these things could be happening though--- sexual activity before all three shots are administered and can fully take effect, for example--- that it will be hard to pinpoint right now.
I think it's worth looking into, especially if physicians are recommending all young women receive this vaccine. They do specify that not all types of HPV are prevented by Gardasil; there are hundreds of strains of the virus, and Gardasil protects against several that are MOST LIKELY to cause cervical cancer and genital warts. That doesn't mean there aren't other strains of the virus excluded from the vaccine that can still do this.
There is no test to see if men have HPV; they are merely carriers of the virus (with the exception of genital warts). If a male has sexual contact with a female who has a form of HPV, he unknowingly carries it to anyone else he has sexual contact with (even with a condom). Men become carriers, women become infected with a virus that may eventually cause cancer. This vaccine, if effective, is crucial to administer BEFORE a girl starts experimenting with any form of sex.

Anyone who's had a wart on their finger in heir lifetime has some form of HPV already in their system. Most strains clear up on their own after a few years and don't develop into anything. But if there's a substantial increase in HPV viruses found in sexually inactive girls who receive this shot, it should certainly be investigated.
