    • I thought this ad was really good!! It caught my attention when I first saw it a week ago and has stayed with me, including the catchy tune.

I went camera shopping today and YES.... I bought one of these cameras!!

      Keep up the GREAT work.

      Hey Guys,

First and foremost let me shout a huge thanks to the hard-working producers for uploading such entertaining VCAMs. From time to time Current’s comment threads can get a little heated and whilst we understand everyone is passionate about their views we have a duty to uphold the community standards http://current.com/s/community_standards.htm and maintain a level of professionalism when commenting on other producers work.

      Thanks,
      Mr_Costello

    • Extremely creative, fast moving, catches your attention and initially makes you wonder what you're seeing, but quickly makes clear it is pointing out the flexibility and positives of the product. My wife and I both enjoyed it a lot!

    • I like it, great work! I would consider removing the fingers scrolling through the photos. I instantly thought IPHONE! ...but this is a Nikon ad. Also, I would of liked to hear some audio of what your actors were saying, it would feel a little more "personal" & put you in the scene.

    • It was pretty good, but some of the scenes didn't have very good lighting... they were too dark. You both had great facial expressions, and it was a great ad.

    • This video made me feel as though I did not need to worry about putting some of my life's golden moments onto film. The couple in the video was fun to watch and they look cute together, like they traveled the world and the seven seas. After watching this it makes me curious to go to best buy and purchase one of these cameras. Good video, no complaints here!

    • Piqued my interest and looked at the camera the day after I first saw this. Ended up buying a D60 rather than an S60, but hey, it's a Nikon, eh?

    • wow I think it is fair to say someone has ties to another VCAM on here and is trying to stifle the competition. . . . (in an immature way I might add) Come on guys be respectful. That being said, I would give this ad two thumbs up, creative idea and its easy to watch. Nice job!

i absolutely agree! this is my first time doing a vcam and it is brutal how much other vcam producer go around and vote everyone else down and comment slam everyone elses video. I think they must feel threatened cause it's really only the top 6 getting hit. i encourage other producers to play fair and vote according to what you actually think of the videos! great comment troek. great video jlarson.

    • I like this. I agree that some talking or ambient noises might have made it even better. I was thinking some writing on the screen at the end would have been good to highlight that feature. Great job and very creative.

    • This was definitely way rad, you guys.

The first time I watched it, the gimmick was super-cute and held my attention through the whole thing. It played again in the background while I was doing something else, and without the video, it seemed kind of empty, which for a video doesn't really matter, but for a commercial, both the people watching it in the room, and the people listening to the drone of the tv in the adjoining room should have their attention held long enough to hear the product placement. I'm not sure if the (fittingly) repetitive hum of the song alone could do that?

I agree with the comment below--perhaps maybe some muted voices in the background, and then, possibly at the end, zoom out and show the whole hand holding the whole camera, and then fading to the black logo.

But on the whole, this was very well-done and I definitely voted it up! Good luck!

    • Hi Jeff, Dont know if you remember me? I am Connie Browns daughter (Louise was my step grandma). We met many years ago. Great commercial. I think it's much better than most on tv today.

    • It takes the thinking out of watching! Pure enjoyment and makes the viewer want to know how to capture the same things. Great idea to make the baby the shooter, Baby X captures what is important.

    • It would be a runner up in the Super Bowl lineup for sure. I get the feeling that a future in video production could be a huge success for you! I liked the music inplace of hearing what was being said....it made you want to keep watching to the end. Nice Job!

    • Now that was very well done.... clever with a catchy tune. It sticks with you. The kind of commercial you wouldn't mind seeing multiple times... which I must say is pretty rare these days!.

    • This is really good. The music is nice though I still feel it would have been nicer with the production audio blend in. Overall it's great Ad.

    • Funny! I'm voting this up.

Suggestions... Why not use the production audio and lower the music? You did a great job with casting, and I feel like I want to hear what the actors are saying. I bet it is funny as hell! A great opportunity to punch of the comedy...

And I'm curious. Do you have a reverse shot where you reveal the Nikon Coolpix? That may be cool to do in the end... Or perhaps it's overkill. A matter of preference, I suppose.

      Good job!
