I saw idiots and angels a while back - it was really pretty good - and good to see a traditional animation again. I don't like Plympton's other stuff so much though - they're mostly a lot cruder than Idiots and Angels, and less interesting. Hope he does more like the feature.

Plympton has a vivid imagination, I think many appreciate. The psychedelic morphs (especially in "The Tune", the wise man sequence) really set direction for me to find my own art. He deserves my vote, par none!

Extremely different and captivating, because it was something I had never seen. Yes, it was dark and sad but very much a unique story. I like to be introduced to something new every day if I could, and this movie has filled quite a few of them up. The music is haunting and beautiful, as if you heard it somewhere from your past, and the artwork comes from deep inside a true artist.
