Topics include "Canada's non-compliance with international obligations", "violation of economic, social and cultural rights", "violation of civil and political rights", "Canada's violation of human rights of indigenous peoples", "violation of human rights of refugees and immigrants", "violation of the rights of women and children", "Canada's police brutality and their abuses".
The document revealed that the Canadian government denies its people food, clean water and the right to work.
"Routine unlawful strip and beatings by Canadian police has been a matter of concern for international community," noted the booklet, entitled Report on Human Rights Situation in Canada, adding that "the practice of police is alarming simply because ... it is functioning as if there is no need to have judges."
The publication, which said its accusations are drawn from "objective and factual information released by authentic and credible international sources," stated that a range of human rights violation occur in Canada, especially toward aboriginal peoples, refugees and immigrants.
"To the great dismay of the international community, it is a great concern that the rights of women are violated, and no serious attention has been paid in promotion and protection of women's rights in Canada."

Agreed earth corporation, the problem that we have in this age of information overload is that somebody can use this report to argue a falsehood!
What we also need to understand about Iran is that it is constantly waging an Information Campaign against the West. This includes planting "facts" about western countries, lying about its presence in Iraq, hiding the facts of its nuclear weapon pursuit, allowing AQ leadership to operate in its country while claiming that they are under house arrest!

from wikipedia:
Fars News Agency (FNA) is an Iranian news agency. It was officially launched in Tehran in February 2002 to "promote the principles of the Islamic Revolution and safeguard national interests".
i thought this was literally another faux news farce for a moment.

More like Farce News Agency. Hahahahaha...snort.
But seriously. They could be trying to make a point. I'm sure some cops in Canada have violate some rights at some point. It comes off as a joke because we all know how calm and good natured Canada is as a whole. But we put out skewed info like this about Iran constantly. Now, obviously Iran does much more nefarious things than Canada, but they have a rich, 4000 year old culture, they have civil rights groups and democratic elections and free speech. Find an Iranian-American and talk to them. You'll find they're mostly really good people. And Iran has still never attacked another country.
I really hope we can change our attitude and rhetoric about Iran. I think we could be strong allies someday. It's the clearest path toward Mideast peace.

I hate to burst your bubble DougChristian but Iran has attacked other countries. You may have forgotten that in 1979 Iranian "students" stormed the American embassy and took people hostage. As you may or may not know, the embassy is considered American territory. you may have also forgottent the Iraq-Iran war which cost millions of lives on both sides. You may have forgotten that up until 9/11 the terrorist organization Hezbollah (Iranian sponsored) was responsible for more deaths of Americans than any other terrorist organization. while the people may be good, the regime is not.
