The trend is so alarming that a grass-roots organisation called the New View Campaign held a protest on Monday outside the Manhattan Center for Vaginal Surgery. The New View's aim is to fight "the medicalization of sex." Champions of the procedures say they give women confidence and power in their sex lives.
