What better person to review the most anticipated rock album of the past 15 years than writer/critic Chuck Klosterman. He kicks off the review by saying:
"Reviewing Chinese Democracy is not like reviewing music. It's more like reviewing a unicorn."
More like reviewing Mr. Snuffleupagus.

I'd like to get a count on the number of extensions in Axl's hair, but I can't find that number anywhere.

If the world, as the Mayans say, ends in 2012, at least we won't have to worry about a follow-up.

Dr. Pepper is wack!! They need to give away free beer.
I'm bummed out that Shaq's verse was taken out the album... It would of sold millions!!!
-
I'm afraid to listen to it.

If you review art history you will know that having spend several years or even a life time developing an art piece is a common practice! 14 years is nothing if part of the intention was to further develop the medium and the artistic ideas. I do not like the title of this post. I don't see the need for using WTF on it! The only problem that I see now is: There is more interesting music being produce today! I am not particularly crazy about a 90's rock band. In the 90's there was also better music!
I just say bravo and felicidades!

i never was a fan of the big hair bands of the late 80s though GNR had more talent. As for the tag - most anticipated album - I hope that's tongue-in-cheek

I would be more interested in finding out how many times Axle was told to "F' Off" by all his guitarists...I think he has a John Lennon complex...another "musician" that was VERY OVERRATED !!!!!

too bad it took 15 years to finish, sometimes the best way to write a good song is to get really trashed and write it on the back of a pizza box, thats the natural way

Appetite is still my favorite album ever. It's a tragedy to see what GNf'nR has become, though.
