I can't ever imagine Star Trek as even remotely sexy, those spandex suits did nothing but make me feel a bit sick.

Well they did try to sex up Enterprise(Enterprise was a complete failure IMO).

What are they talking about, the original Star Trek was all about sex. James Kirk's penis should have been labeled a biological disaster with all the alien STD's he had. And did we forget about the uniforms? It was the next generation that made everything more professional and prude. The prequel film to the original series has to sexed up because everyone in that show was having sex.

I hope the movie is better. Didn't think much of the video. I used to like the original Star Trek, but thought less of the follow ups. If they want it to work, it will have to be good; they've got Star Wars to contend with & even that's old. But I wish them luck.

What would an action-adventure movie be without a love subplot? Had interracial relationships been more popular back in the 60's, Kirk would have been all over Uhura. Why not now? Would you prefer Kirk chasing after a fine Romulan lady? I don't think Romulan-Human relationships are popular in this present time.
