I showed by parents this interview and showed them McCain saying his infamous phrase before the bailout happened and they both voted for Obama. Both staunch republicans.

Katie's interview plus the GOP's demonizing of the media when they were just trying to learn who she is and what she history was. If you want to get elected don't piss the journalists off.

Oh well Hollywood is full of rich idiots and I'm sure there is room for Alaska's govenor and most ot the Washington politburo. Who knows Bush would make a perfect standin for the Godfather. Putin would really has a gas seeing Bush in a movie. Hah

You have to give credit to the editors and camera directors of those interviews for keeping Couric's understated reactions of annoyance and incredulousness on screen for us all to enjoy.
Biased journalists? sure. But avoiding questions, giving BS answers, and outright lying is what sunk McCain and Palin here.

I've always loved Katie and believe she would make a terrific VP. Too bad she has absolutely NO political intentions. That said, she's the best female journalist I know. KUDOS TO KATIE!!!!
