Amadou and Miriam are a blind Malian couple, who met at Mali's Institute for the Blind. The husband-and-wife have gone to achieve worldwide fame, working with names like Manu Chao and Franz Ferdinand. Their new album, Welcome to Mali is out now. Check out a sample of them singing live at the link.
