Killing people proves one thing: that love has left the building.

Looks pretty nasty over there. I hope there's not many more casualties. Violence is never the answer

I have been watching the coverage on this on various news channels. Many of the channels (CNN, MSNBC, IBN) have showed a lot of journalistic integrity by not jumping to conclusions and inciting unwarranted fear. But leave it to Faux News (the sly Fox) to use former NY governer Pataki to somehow compare this to 9/11. They are saying things such as "This proves that we aren't safe here in America" and "How soon before we have an attack of this kind here?"...Don't be blinded by the fear tactics people

A witness saw the Muslim fanatics looking for people
    with British or US passports
The head of Mumbai's anti-terrorism is among those killed, according to local TV

Americans are being targeted overseas by Muslims. I hope they don't bring that crap over here. Oh wait,
they already have. The killers of Jews and Christians are not going away. These murderers claim to live by
a religion of peace and love, but instead the deadly
liars die by a code of war, hate, and intolerance.

Now, for my OPINION: Americans should come together to fight this diseased fanatacism. Islam fanatics are a cancer upon this earth, never allowing for inter-faith tolerance. I don't care if one worships Allah. But if they kill my family in the process, that is wrong & should never be withstood by anyone.

My heart goes out to all those who have lost their loved ones and the 40 people who are being held hostage. This whole situation is making my stomach turn.

It is pretty crazy-ironic that the anti-terrorist chief was killed in the attacks. Can you imagine what would happen if the head of Homeland Security was killed in a bombing here in the U.S.? People would be freaking out big time, to be sure.

It seems the Indian Security Forces aren't concerned with subtlety in dealing with these murderers, so expect the civilian body count to go up accordingly within the next few hours.

It is hard to recruit people to do anything unless you are improving their situation. Perhaps we should try to fight fanaticism with shelter, three square meals a day, and affording the down and out a shred dignity. The machine gun barrel and Humvee celebrity culture of our United States seems to have been a wrong turn.

I just read that Obama released a statement condemning the terrorist attacks in India. Great, now I feel so much better, for a moment there I thought maybe he would release a statement in support of the attacks.

Can we be any less robotic about these events that increasingly seem to be met with a standard script?

I am Thankful... for homeland security & the FBI, as
their efforts have been successful to suppress an attack on American soil as a gift from Al-Qaeda: terrorist plot timed for New York Thanksgiving!

They think we are too busy with politics & finances.

I hope the people of India know that Americans are with them in their time of grieving for their country and that our thoughts are with the families of the hurt and the people that passed away.

After 911 and our invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, terrorist attacks are up 500% all over the world. You know that it's the beginning of the holidays and a new administration coming in soon, so I'm sure that cowards are going to try and scare everybody. I quite frankly believe the American people are done with being afraid and we are just plain pissed off at the terrorist that are currently pulling off the biggest bank heist in history. Look over there, see we protected you since 911 and stole your futures while we made you fear your own shadow.

For ColdWorld (the reply didn't work, sorry):

While CNN & Fox were reporting on the terrorist attack in India, MSMBC was talking about Obama's cabinet selections. Yeah. I laughed and changed the channel.

People are thinking about how to buy groceries, medicine and maybe get a Christmas gift for their child, if they are lucky. Or this week, are the kids young enough to realize this is a chicken, not a turkey?

Times are hard. And it's prime for terrorists to take advantage. Fox pointed it out. I am glad they did. The other news stations should have with the threat level NY has been over with the bold terrorist threat to it's subway system. Fox reported on that, did other channels?

Had CNN did this, you would not have said anything. Because it's Fox news, you have a Pavlovian response to bite at the TV. Sad. Even liberals should be open minded at times, and know what is helpful. Being an ostrich isn't the best idea right now.

In regard too futures, all of us are being effected by how
the Bush administration has handled these last 7 years
of fear mongering and over playing the response to a few thousand terrorists. The whole world knows that we have made more terrorist than we have killed. All the while making trillions on the innocent deaths of civilians that had nothing too do with 911. Now that bank heist presently going on has put us in debt up to our eyebrows.
