I always wanted to study Gnostic teachings.
I think that Constantine and others decided the books on the bible also due to ease of writing, ease of carrying and what would be a sensible book that could be made. There are so many "lost texts" that are in the Vatican and other places. I hope that one day soon that all these works are properly put into English from Greek (the ones we have now are very poorly translated and should be redone, in my opinion.) And be made available to everyone.

I understand that there are many fundamental bible groups, but I personally believe that the Bible like God is boundless and the teachings cannot be put into a "box" of literal meanings. And the additional books can do nothing but enhance our relationship with God.
(Good thing not many Christians on here, I would be so slammed probably for my non-fundamentalist beliefs.)

Great second installment of this enlightening documentary.

This is a very interesting video... The story is frustrating. I wish people hadn't had to go through so much pain. It says a lot about what we are as humans. What an amazing story.

I liked this, even though it was sad in many ways.

This is so educative; I wish that this go to all religious studies so people learn how one religion should take responsibility in not forcing its belief to others.
-
Great documentary, both sad in respect to the suffering but also inspiring about the continued search for that 'something true'.

Awesome video series on the Gnostics
