Following the 10th national United Families and Friends Campaign march to Downing Street, http://current.com/items/89570641/deaths_in_custody.htm, a march was called in Brixton to highlight the death of Ricky Bishop, who died while in custody at Brixton Police Station.

25-year-old Ricky was arrested following a street stop-and-search that revealed no evidence against him.

This short film covering the protest explains in detail what happened to Ricky the night he died.

Geeky note: I messed around with channel levels on this film and de-saturated the colour in order to create a bleak and cold feel. The previous film After Sangatte, http://current.com/items/88967594/after_sangatte_europe_s_untold_refugee_crisis...., is the only other film I've used such treatments.
