In an exclusive partnership with the French phenomenon, Current TV brings you a series of exclusive Take Away Shows featuring your favorite indie artists performing in odd venues. In this first episode, Fleet Foxes give an acoustic performance in an abandoned gymnasium, Emily Jane White serenades us at the Sutro Bath ruins, and Quasi sings in a bookstore. this was GREAT! I was so amazed by the Quasi clip - never have had much appreciation for them, but their song was really good.

Thanks, Current, for airing this. These musicians are true artists. This has restored my faith that real music is being made out of the mainstream. Kudos all the way!

Current's doing a new show partnered with La Blogotheque. They go around and film awesome indy bands live in one take in really cool settings. This is the first show, thought you'd dig it.

I love this. I fantasize of me going to the ATM and all of a sudden Frightened Rabbit start playing "the greys" in the middle of the street...

Ahh, I've been such a big fan of La Blogotheque for awhile now and still, every time I see new musicians take part of this project I get the chills.

I absolutely love that La Blogotheque is on Current.

I was so impressed with this first episode and I'm looking forward to seeing the others. The info said grand archives and dodos, so I was a little disappointed to see they were not a part of this episode, but I'm still happy with what I saw.

I can't remember exactly, but this seems Elizabethan, like early John Renborn or the music of Tanyet.

I like Bass Nectar, Ganga Giri, 60's rock, Pennywhistlers and this is a great complement to all. I would love to see them at Joshua Tree Music Fest

I've been watching these Take-Away shows for a couple of years now. I'm really glad that I finally get to see it on the tv, instead of my macbook. GREAT JOB!

This is becoming one of my favorite watches on Current. They have the most beautiful music on here, and now I can't quit listening to Fleet Foxes. A lot better music than what you hear on the radio now.
