Urgent, just reported: Al-Zaidi in U.S. run Camp Cropper prisonIraqi TV al-Sharqiya just reported on the news that AL-Zaidi is transferred to Camp Cropper prison [the Airport prison, managed by the American forces].

The TV Channel announced that Al-Zaidi is in a difficult condition, with broken ribs and signs of tortures on his thighs. Also he can not move his right arm.

    • There is no doubt in my mind that Al-Zaidi has been tortured while in custody.

      Judging by these recent responses, it's easy to see that the right wing loser goons have invaded current tv on-line.

      According to the GAO, Bechtel, the American corporation that received the most contracts to rebuild Iraqs' water system, completed less than 35% of the projects contracted for. Bechtal then left the country in 2005 having been paid millions of US taxpayer dollars. The only potable water system in Iraq's major city, Baghdad, is in the green zone. For the Iraqi residents, unsafe water is the norm or if you can afford it - bottled water. That's why there are periodic outbreaks of dysentary and reports even of cholera in Iraq. The Iraqi people want the US occupation of their country to end immediately.
      Al-Zaidi has become a folk hero on the streets of Iraq.

    • As I so accurately pointed out in my previous posting, this story is complete poppycock. The stupid twit was detained and has been held by Iraqi Security Officers. Any mal-treatment which he has suffered has been visited upon his body by Iraqi personnel.

    • I love hearing the ridiculous media going about "what an insult shoe-throwing is in the “Arab Culture.”"

      That would be the culture that gave us women wearing burlap sacks, camel buggery and child suicide bombers, but likes to remind us how enlightened they were in 1300.

      Here's a thought - maybe Al Gore can sell him some carbon credits.

      PS - from a friend - hate us so much? When we go, we wil take back out water treatment plants, the schools we built, and THE INTERNET WE INVENTED that AMERICA LETS THE ARAB "WORLD" USE.
