I'm sure the Iraqi government sees his act of disrespect as an embarrassment. As a result they plan to harshly punish and make an example of him.
Bush should really step in and make it clear that he wants this man to have humane treatment.
On a side note... I'm surprised he's still alive. I would have thought the Secret Service would have gunned him down before the first shoe was even launched.
