Craig "KR" Costello, an independent artist/entrepreneur from Queens NY, earned a reputation in the 90's for writing graffiti in his signature drippy silver ink nicknamed "Krink." Never imagining an illegal form of self-expression could become a profitable business, Costello's homemade "Krink" has since become a cultural phenomenon and Costello's primary source of income. This pod by vc2 producer Dan Bruun and Jason Schneider will expore the appropriation of KR's style and ink by the art world.

    ALFIE -> ALIFE (of course)

    I was just getting impressed with Current TV and thinking why it's not bigger over here (Copenhagen, Denmark) and then this totally obvious mistake in the title of Rob Cristafaro... com' on it say THE ALIFE INC on the sign in the video 10 secs before! :-)

    As an inner city artist I've been using Mr.Costello's product pretty much on the daily since summer of 2008 and i'm more happy to say his KRINK is defiinely the !@#%$ and as a new viewer to current.com I find it interesting that by chance K.R.'s DIY story would be the th1st video I viewed. . . .KEEP THE GOOD STUFF COMING ! ! !
