Eloisa Cartonera is an independent book publisher where Buenos Aires' that sells recycled, handpainted books written by some of Latin America's most dynamic young writers. In this pod, VC2 producers Steven Tagle and Sarah Gilbert profile the publisher's founder as well as interview some of the young streetkids who collect the cardboard and paint the books.

    It is startling to see that the goverment does not want to do anything about the garbage or those that live on the streets or are living in poverty....its completely amazing how these people are recycling, spreading literature and reading along with helping those that are less fortunate...Eloisa Cartonera is am amazing group and are an inspiration....thanks for being great human beings...seeing this brightened my day to see others doing something to make a positive difference...
