If you are diagnosed with cancer, you have a definitive treatment plan, your insurance can't limit your Dr's visits, drug formulary or deny specialized treatment planning for a specific type of cancer. There are still so many loopholes in the current insurance available for the mental health industry, proper treatment for the individual is being denied. The recovery process is being impeded and/or many people's options are eliminated that are having success on current medications which are no longer approved. We need answers. Answers that are still years from being found. If we continue to ignore this issue and underfund the progress being made, our children will be the ones paying the price.
