A picture of a seemingly credit-crunched Chinese shepherd has become an instant internet hit in China, all because he's using a poster of a wolf to herd up his flock.Speaking to local paper Huashang Daily, Du Hebing, of Xi'an, said:
"After visiting Qinling Wild Animal Park, on the way home I saw a group of sheep walking along the road with a man holding a picture following behind them...The man was using the wolf picture to scare the sheep and drive them ahead - it was a really funny scene."
"Maybe he was just trying to save some money by not buying a sheepdog - but he is obviously a talented shepherd."
Or maybe he has a really scary picture...

i'm surprised that a picture would work. but good for the shepherd . it helps him do his job.

Hopefully some ingenuity will come out of Americans when the depression gets worse.

I've heard animals have memories, but this just solidifies it for me. I wonder if any of these sheep have actually seen a wolf.

Is this how we all are? Being driven by mere pictures on our televisions?

To be fair, when they can only see about 15 pictures on the Internet, it's not a huge accomplishment. :>
The down-side of this is going to be competing with the sheep dogs for unemployment benefits.
