this pod helped me remember that it is not a terrible thing to be a human being thank you
-
God bless him and the rest to find their families

Too bad the U.S. and other foreign countries do not spend funding to train these countries about medical and healthcare rather than spending on DESTRUCTION and CONQUERING. Education should be improved and other U.S. Funded what is needed in America and to its’ people, housing and educating Africans and other foreigners would increase fundamental values and stronger relationships if education were possible and more freely available.

Wonderful pod! I'd like to see more like this.

This video is about my adopted brother Koor. My family has had the blessing of having him in our lives since 2003 and he is as kind, loving and wonderful as is portrayed in Jen Marlows' amazing documentary. He works punnishingly long hours in a state-run nursing home and attends school as well - all with the dream of serving and helping others. He has such a beautiful heart, a quick smile and loves to laugh. Thank you, Jen for bringing his story to light.

Tears Tears Tears
So many African Americans dream of really finding family left behind so many years ago.How blessed this young man is.So blessed are his parents. The feeling in your heart as you look for lost family is indescribable! I share in his blessings and joy.
As a nurse he has the skills it takes to try and heal his small portion of the world.
If we all just heal our own portion it is added together and we will have perfected this world of chaos.
Peace in this time is possible.

It's hard when it's just one helpin. It takes guts and a lot of heart to want to change ones land and help at the same time. He should be proud as well as his fam and village.

This is a great video that made me feel appreciative of American educational opportunities for people from other countries to obtain. I like the idea he "paid it forward" and went back and found his family...so cool. Nice guy, and very smart, I'd say.

Wow - amazing story. This film captures the background of the Sudan genocide better than anything I have ever seen. The story shows what individuals CAN do in the face of over whelming adversity – and it is not a puff piece – you see the joys and the sorrow of such work Anyone thinking of doing work in the developing world should view this film!
-
What a wonderful human being he is. God has truly blessed him to come through all he has and to have the loving, giving, caring spirit. I wish him well in all his journeys back and He DID make a difference on that trip. The problems are just over-whelming.

Incredible
Thanks for being an inspiration and using the awesome resources the US has to better your home.Instead of sitting on your ass bitching on current about how terrible the US is and how IT should do more.
