This fellow is a "Philosopher" and not a scientist.

My opinion is as valid as his. I say he's full of beans. I say that Global Warming is a natural effect of the Sun's activity. I say that a warming trend will be beneficial for our planet, increasing our farm-able lands and fresh water supply. While changes will be a bit frightening for some, we will come out of it in perfect order.

And I dislike celebrity doom-sayers whatever their opinions.

The first word he suggested it is a very dangerous one. Humans can never, ever adapt to toxic pollution. Therefore adaptation can be mistaken here by denial or several types of mental disability. The consequence of their denial and inaction to abate pollution will be for certain premature death.
