Latest threat to student health: trolls and orcs

Image...
It seems obvious enough to me, but I suppose there are quite a few online gamers out there that will be shocked to discover that W.O.W. can be blamed for new college drop out rates. The addictive quality of these types of games prevents students from adequately preparing for classes (often missing them entirely) and creates erratic sleeping and eating habits.

Many employers, the article cites, will avoid hiring otherwise qualified online gamers for even entry-level positions due to unreliable behavior and misplaced priorities.

There is a Warcraft class at the college in my town, so who says you can't have the best of both worlds?

hmmm, wake up early and walk across campus in the freezing wind and snow to go to an 8:00am chemistry lecture or stay up all night with your friends dominating nubs on warcraft from the comfort of your cozy dorm. i can see why this is becoming an issue...
