That cop ( BART train rent a badge) killed that young man in cold blood. The acCOPmplaces stood by and watched. A good cop would have had the murderer on the ground and in cuffs. He should be tried ina court of law, just like a common criminal. It was murder. These are the symptoms of a fearful society. Fear based politics mingled-in with some good ole' fashioned racism will lead to many more of these types of killings as jobs and resources become more scarce. Love thy neighbor. its BS for them to claim that the officer puller out his gun when he meant to get his taser. First of all they shouldnt have even tasered him since he wasnt aggressively resisting. Second, I would think that a cop would be able to tell the difference between their taser and their gun. if not, then this is damn fine proof that these people are not trained or qualified to carry weapons.

I feel so bad for the family of this man (especially his baby girl) and all those who had to witness this horrific act.

There are some very badly trained and trigger happy police in America and many of them are out of control and feel like they are above the law. This one belongs in prison for life along woth alot of others, but this one got caught, put him in prison for life and begin to male America safe against rogue cops who are badly trained and undereducated. Let him pay for taking an unarmed father to death. I also ask would this happen if he were white. Somehow America is going to get rid of these rednecks.

If this cop doesn't go down for what is clearly shown on video to be a callous murder you must take to the streets and demand justice.

after watching that video and reading the story its hard for me to form words around this horrible tragedy....as a human american black man this just enrages me....WHY!? I've seen the latest video of this incident. I'm not taking sides nor am I saying the officer shouldn't be punished but, from the looks of it, it was an accident. Even the cop had the "Oh, shit, please tell me that didn't just happen" look on his face after the gun went off. Of course I could be wrong and no one knows for sure what the intent was other than that officer but he should be reprimanded for this, definitely. And if he's allowed to continue being a law enforcement official after all of this settles, he needs to be retrained, at the very least, and taught that pulling a gun on an unarmed suspect who's trying to comply with the officer's wishes is, like, stupid.

And I hate to make light of a serious situation, damn, man; it seems like you can't get a break. You get fucked up when you fight back. You also run the risk of getting fucked up if you do as they say. Gawd, it's like you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Just can't win.
