It is impossible to prove the existence of God, just as it is impossible to prove that God doesn't exist. What you offered as proof is simply articles of faith, no more.

You can't prove that there is god. Religion is based on faith. Faith that you believe in it or not

You cannot prove there is a god, because religion is originally made by humans, and it is faith based...the "evidence" you keep asking everyone is that religion is made in your human brain, its your faith that keeps programming your image of god, there needs to be no evidence, because the concept of religion itself is inside your brain..

From my personal experiences, I believe there is some super natural entity (whether it be from another dimension or planet) that I don't claim to fully understand. With that said, I think this entity came to earth to ancient humans, these humans with limited scientific knowledge interpreted these things as god(s).

But I fully respect aesthetic and people with different belief systems than mine (like I said this just how I interpreted personal experiences), and I expect the same respect given to me as a person that believes in supernatural entity(s)

Here is my proof of my ideals, i do not believe in the christian religion because your ideals are based on a book (your proof) That is thousands of years old and has been revised over and over again (despite numerous quotes in the bible saying gods word should NEVER for ANY reason be changed) to the point of it being unrecognizable to ancient versions (that we have found, non the less the ORIGINAL!) So all in all your BOOK your PROOF is nothing but a tool changed and used by governments until if fit their agenda, find me the original bible, and i will read it and see if i believe, but until then your current book of a holy mess is nothing but human words.

How about this. There is a god and yes it is all around you. Let's say the big bang did happen and this event propelled the 'current" periodic table through our known universe. These elements construct the air we breathe the water we drink the bones and skin that hold us together. This matter also created the cigarettes we smoke the pollution we put in the air -ipods and cancer. God does exist, everything is god. This is a random universe and there is no hierarchy with a big guy at the top.
Mainstream god did not stop the atrocities of man nor will he.

Thank you everyone for commenting. This discussion has been more rewarding for me than I expected, I hope it has provoked a great deal of thought for everyone. I learned from the things people have said and its only strengthened my belief in God. Most of all I would like to thank God for creating a world where this type of debate is possible. If anyone else would like continue discussing, please go right ahead. More than likely, I'm going to take a vacation from the internet so I can focus on more important things in my life, and I'll return if God wills it to be so.

I hope that all you lovely people out there who are typing away on your key boards realize one thing...for the last 'xx' years the Physics community has been refining the ideas of a Christian Hebrew by the name of Einstein. Yup that crazy Christian is the father of modern physics and since his time the physics community, for the most part, has been refining his ideas. Hmmm ? Not really adding anything new, except for what is now possible with new equipment, but refining the ideas of Einstein. Sooo clearly, reasoning and mathematics are not contradictory to Christianity but in fact enhance it. Hey Atheists, don't you remember when the story of Exodus was touted as a nice tale (up into the 1980's) and then a peculiar thing happened, historical artifacts were found supporting all the events of Exodus? It even became a little mini series on TV. Then you reply, 'well o.k. it happened but not like the bible said'. Sooo sad. Call it whatever you will, understand it however you might, but your mind is only limited to what you can see or imagine, and what you can see or imagine is limited to what you can understand. As someone has correctly pointed out, hypocrites and martyrs are not made of the same stuff. Men may willingly die for what they believe to be true...even at times if what they believe is actually false. But no one will die willingly for something they know to be a lie!! Judas Iscariot, betrayer of Jesus, committed suicide. Only John, of the other 13 Apostles, did not die by homicide, a martyr. They watched Jesus die, his resurrection and his ascension and they died because they knew THE TRUTH; Jesus was indeed divine and NOT “just another bag of rotting flesh”.
