Woopsies? Israelis murder 40 innocent people in UN school
Two tank shells exploded outside the school, residents said, spraying shrapnel on people inside and outside the building, where hundreds of Palestinians had sought refuge from fighting between Israeli soldiers and Hamas militants.
Reuters journalists filmed bodies scattered on the ground amid pools of blood and torn shoes and clothes. A donkey also lay on the ground in its own blood.
In addition to the dead, several dozen people were wounded, the hospital officials said.
The Israeli military said it was looking into the reports.
Doctors said all the dead were either people sheltering in the school or residents of Jabalya refugee camp, in the north of the Gaza Strip.
A separate Israeli air strike near another U.N. school earlier on Tuesday killed three Palestinians, medics and witnesses said.

At the beginning of this latest incursion the U.N. gave the GPS locations of these U.N. schools about 12 of them and Israel has bomb 3 so far. Sounds like a few Israelie commanders are afraid to go in with soldiers and clear any Hamas gunmen from these schools, it's just easier for a coward to blow them up, fuck the civilians. That is the definition of an out of control military.

Both of them can suck the warhead of a nuclear missile, for all I care.

How sick do those Israeli's get? Not only is the army twisted in the head, but their generals and ones in command are even worse. Our world is a shitty place to live in because of people of those natures.

@dataminded:
My Analysis of that v ideo:
Yes, in fact there were rockets coming from outside the school. I also see Israels enemy scattering AWAY from the school. Now, since Israels super good 'eye in the sky' was able to see where these people went, why, in Gods name did Israel Fire into the school? Why did Israel fire into the school when Israel KNEW and was INFORMED by the United Nations (with gps coordinates) that there were civilians-innocent children and people in that School?
Seems to me, Israel had no regard for human life, and is in fact, responsible for the murder of innocent children and adults. WAR CRIMES

FarmJohn.
I can see your point. War is terrible and there will be casualties. Either way, it was tragic whether a mistake or not..I guess we will find out after the investigation.
and another thing..I am always honest. I may get carried away with my compassion for human life and I would be equally hurt if an Israeli child was killed, or was hurt as when one Israeli child was injured yesterday...its all human life to me and I wish, pray and hope that both sides can LEARN to live together. I've shed tears for both sides, but I do believe this is totally an out proportion attack. imo-

btw, just now on CNN...the United Nations just made a statement saying: "We are 99.5% certain there were no militants at the school or vicinity in question"... (they, the UN were there)"...and if there is anyone available to shed light on the other .05%, we would like for you to step forward to be part of an impartial investigation."

I say cut aid to Israel and let the social order of the middle east rebalance itself. We will see who the real "chosen people" are then.

By the way...what is the body count now? 400 something Palestinians killed and only 5 killed in Israel. 2 of which were actually Arab-Israeli's. No, that doesn't seem like overkill on Israel's side at all.

This is not the first time Israel has targeted civilians taking refuge at a UN compound: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qana_Massacre

Hamas Launches Mortars from UNRWA School
-
All Hamas needs to do, all they ever needed to do - stop launching their missles and killing innocent Israel citizens.

It's depressing that Israel has conveniently forgotten the horrors its people endured during their holocaust. now they are creating a holocaust in the middle east. congratulations, you're no better than anyone else.

STRANGER THAN FICTION
Israel to treat 'stray dogs and cats' for rocket trauma
Monday, January 05 2009 @ 11:56 PM EST
Edited by: Michael Hess
It does not get more callous than to elevate stray pets above dying and maimed for life women and children in GazaBBSNews 2009-01-05 -- By Michael Hess. With the inhumane treatment given to Gazans who have been under siege for more than 18 months comes a new insult, Israel will treat stray pets for trauma from militant rocket fire.
I love pets as much as the next person, my wife and I have many and livestock. But I was horrified to read a piece in Yedioth this evening, even as the ground assault on Gaza's civilians intensifies, that Israel is going to now help pay for medical treatment of Israeli cats and dogs affected by militant rocket fire:
"...in light of the fact that like their human owners, pets in Israel's south are also under the constant rocket threat, the Agriculture Ministry has decided it would help pay for the medical care of dogs and cats injured by rocket fire from Gaza."
Hamas rocket fire at civilians is a crime against humanity, even as Israel's brutal siege for the last 18 months or so, the use of phosphorous and cluster bombs in densely packed civilian areas is also a war crime.
The only rational conclusion is that Israeli's, or at least their officials, believe that Palestinian lives are so cheap, that instead of pushing for peace and an end to the brutal occupations that for decades have precluded it, instead conflict will be maintained and stray cats and dogs - "According to Ben-Dov, the ministry will also consider funding the treatment of street cats and dogs without owners." - will be afforded greater protection than Gaza's civilian population.

the fact that some people try to justify these atrocities as necessary collateral damage is astonishing to me. they point to hamas as being the villainous instigator, but i don't think i've ever seen ANYONE attempt to defend hamas' actions.
if this was an israeli school with mortar fire coming from hamas fighters, it would be treated as a delicate hostage crisis. nobody would justify child casualties as a legitimate sacrifice in taking out 'terrorists'.

without schools where will they learn how to aim!
