Inside Sderot, Israel: The real humanitarian crisis and start of the current conflict
"Sderot Media Center released this video shortly before the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas expired on December 19th, 2008. It describes and illustrates what life under Kassam fire is like in Sderot and predicted the renewal of intense Kassam attacks once the ceasefire ended."

It is time to put an end to the prosecution of the Jewish people. Extreme Islamics are becoming the new Nazi's and we all know most Muslims hate the Jews and then they will hate anyone that is not of their Religion.
The world needs to put a stop to this!

This is the reality of every day life in Israel. Even under a cease fire rockets are continually launched into the country by the terrorist group Hamas. Yet the world keeps quiet. It is only when Israel finally says "Enough!" and retaliates that the world speaks out, and then only to condemn Israel for being too forceful.
I don't understand how the rest of the world expects Israel to put up with this day after day and never fight back. Israel wants an end to this way of life, and they have the right to defend themselves from these terrorist attacks.
It is beyond reason that people would side with a terrorist group such as Hamas.

Why don't the adults stop fighting? Maybe they wax nostalgic for the awful memories they had as children. They have never grown up. They perpetuate their childhood conditioning.

Addressing that last statement in the piece - "the only region in the entire world where missiles are fired toward civilian population (sic) in the 21st century." I have to ask: are they counting the missiles being fired into Gaza as well? Are they even considering the fact that the missiles being launched into Palestinian territory are hitting children, families, people without a uniform?
I agree that both sides are certainly to blame in this conflict, but there's no chance in Hades that I will ever say "poor Israel" because they are doing exactly what they don't want done to them - bombing neighborhoods. BOTH sides need to stop. Both sides are committing terrorist acts, and both sides are completely in the wrong. BOTH!
Israel does not treat the people of Gaza or the West Bank as full citizens, deserving of equal treatment. This disrespect breeds contempt. That contempt breeds anger. That anger causes people to do desperate things. It boils down to both sides wiping the slate clean and to start treating one another as human beings. It wont fix everything, but its a start. -
gee, maybe if any one of a dozen other muslim countries would offer housing, land, space and jobs to the people of Gaza, this problem would go away, too?
in our dreams.
yes, both sides.... actually all three sides... are to blame.
