Yes please! The fascination of Borat's comedy situationism, his theatre of cruelty, is that its hero was deeply unsympathetic. Ali G had a kind of goofy charm, Borat was horrible, i cannot wait to see what Bruno has in stock.

he's genius. typically, his comedy comes at the expense of those with hubris from being in power through money, influence, or ignorance. brilliant.

i've been watching this guy since he was doing interviews as ali g on the 11 o'clock show, a real legend. The guy has balls of steel to do what he does and I hope he keeps doing it.

Sacha Baron Cohen is super smart (he read history at Christ's College, Cambridge). I'm sure his shock tactics will have a point, and will go way beyond anything Jerry Springer could come up with as far as commentary on our society is concerned.

I'm sick of this guy. He's a loser who thinks he's high and mighty and teaching us some sort of lesson. Fuck him.

HE is super-religious! No one ever talks about that fact! Sacha Baron Cohen is an EXTREMELY religious and pious person! He lived on a kibbutz. He even required that his girlfriend convert to Judaism before having his baby! And he makes fun of everyone equally, in a really smart and funny way.

Everyone always cheers South Park for mocking everyone equally. Sacha Baron Cohen does the same, only LIVE, and he's much braver and wittier than those idiots. It requires an inordinate amount of strength, talent, and creativity to do what he does. As an actor, I can't even IMAGINE how difficult it is to live inside an improv bubble the way he does. It's crazy.

I thought Borat was pretty funny, but as Brad stated it is not that hard to upset religious Americans... or anyone else for that matter.

As a Christian and the point where I fully tolerate, is that these guys can mock the people as much as they want. You have my support and I would help you for free! But mockery to things that cannot defend themselves like a Jesus sculpture or anything related, is fucked UP.

Mock as much -real- people as you want, IN THEIR FACE. Make us laugh and this type of things make people loosen and start to accept things.

I really have a hard time understanding why some people care so much. Personally, I think he is super funny and has a pretty good point with this film.

I've said before, either everything is off limits or nothing is. The second you start making a special list then you might as well tear up freedom of speech for the pc society. Honestly, it may hurt for some people, but everyone really needs to grow a funny bone and get over themselves. I'm trying to figure out why a black Jesus would be offensive though. Hell, I'm still trying to figure out why the catholics have such a problem with a married Jesus. People are too sensitive and reactionary.

I think his comedy shows a reflection of his Jewish beliefs and the changing movement of less importance on religion in America. Genius.
