Good. I once bought a Chevy Avalanche and the piece of crap was falling apart daily.
We need to move to Toyota.

Let it go. You know if it werent for greed the country would be in much better shape. I mean look at the billionaires that own these major companies. Pay the employees more and give up some of the wealth. Lets say WalMart profits 40 bil this year with say 200,000 employees, even if the owners gave say 30 Bil for employee raises that would mean the employees would make 150,000 a year. Greed is grabbing our country by the nuts and twisting. This is a crude example, just trying to make a point. The UAW is what is bringing this company down. Move the company to the south and the workers will only give a shit about getting their paycheck. As for the Govt spending all of our money to bail these companies out, what I think should happen is we should have returned all the money we pay in federal taxes in 2008 returned this year. Give the citizens a bail out,.

They deserve to: Reason's Ross Perot had a solution but it involved cutting CEO and Union $, the enemy is within, now I've written all my elected officials and the national survey says that 70% of us apposed and we were ingored and spent our money against our will with this knowledge..........Time to take back our power and make hold people accountable.
I love Chevies, from my first a 57 to my current Cheyenne Truck, but never again. We have met the enemy and it is US big business and our govt. Time for a revolution. Thomas Jefferson, if he and John Adams would have formed a civil militia and taken our country back. Too many being paid off, to many complacent, too many uneducated, too many cowards. We are reaping what we have sewed.

If we let GM fail by not allowing any more government monies we will affect the other car manufacturers as well.
I am afraid of a domino effect. They all use the same part companies for instance, and if there is a substantial decrease on parts that will affect them. The more jobs that are lost the more our country spirals into the abyss of depression.
There is no red or blue button to push for an easy answer.
Do we let all three fail and just depend on foreign car manufacturers to supply us? How many jobs will be lost?
At what level of job loss do we consider it a depression?
How about a great depression? Are we even close to that level yet?
