it's not important what we BELIEVE the details are. what's important is that there be transparency so that whatever the truth is, it can be verified.

skepticism is a good thing, both of the official story and the various conspiracy theorists. but i'm not interested in endless speculation from either side. i want veracity, goddamn it.

can't we all agree that there should be much more transparency in the investigative process? we all deserve to know what happened and feel confident that we have all the available facts. right?

Ridiculous, these "explosions" are internal collapses of the building that are simply going before the external collapse.

Stealing a plane and flying it into a building armed with box cutters is relatively simple. It had already been used as a plot in a book. Planning in secret to some how lead the terrorist into this plot and planting explosives in multiple buildings in secret and hiding all evidence is ridiculous. Realizing that a terrorist attack somewhere is likely and using it for political leverage when it occurs is likely. Why do you believe that a c student president who ran multiple enterprises into the ground aided by an intelligence community that failed to predict any major crisis correctly since its inception was capable of such a staggering planned attack as you claim it was? does anyone realize to demo a building the thousands of man hours required and that the building is stripped down to its frame to enable the placing and wiring of its charges? Do you think that the pilots of the planes could possibly have the skill to strike at the exact floor level needed to coordinate such an attempt? These are the same terrorists who have failed to even come close to making one significant terrorist attack on US soil in the last seven years. 911 was a combination of dumb luck and Americas incompetent security and intelligence services.

How bout this theory... I don't believe the government actually did 9/11. But what I do believe is that they knew it was coming somehow, everybody knew and they acted like normal thugs would. They let the darkie (which means anything darker than them) do the actual hit job, and sucked up the blood of the victim like a vampire on crack. All it takes for bad people to do bad things is for good people to be watching TV instead of being vigilant.

If more than one person was involved in the planning of 911, then you can officially call it a conspiracy. Just one: Larry Silverstein - Owner of both towers and building 7

Two months prior to the attacks he took out insurance policies with a specific clauses regarding terrorist attacks. He made quite a return on those policies. After arguing the fact that the towers had been struck by 2 terrorist attacks (because of course there were two planes) he was awarded 7 billion dollars. Added to what he received for building 7 put him well above the 8 billion mark.

The official classification of building 7's collapse is fire. Yet Silverstein himself admitted to ordering the buildings demolition so as not to endanger more lives. A planned demo takes months, not minutes, to plan and execute. And yet by watching the building go down in 6.5 seconds you can tell that's exactly what happened.

Interestingly none of the other buildings in the WTC complex, buildings that were not owned or insured by Silverstein, collapsed dispite heavy damage and fire.

So let me get this straight, Bush is too stupid to secretly "torture" a few high value terror suspects but he's brilliant enough to perpetrate an organized attack (on 4 different fronts) on thousands of American citizens and keep it hidden for 7.5 years? What time does your spaceship arrive to pick you up?

Nonsense? Do your research, learn the truth. This isn't the first time Government has done its share of fear mongering (Pearl Harbor, Bay of Pigs, etc.) to rally public support. Please don't say conspiracy theories have no validity until you do your research. Why, the other day in a VERY conservative newspaper in Northern California a study had been released saying this was the first time in HISTORY that towers (built to withstand such an attack) have collapsed for, I think the official explanation was, the super heated metal.

Experts With No Expertise (a.k.a. Talking Out Your Ass)

September 11 impacted our world in millions of ways, but one of the more obscure ways it left its mark was how it created a lot of self-proclaimed demolition experts. Overnight, thousands of ordinary people who had never studied architecture, aerodynamics, airline disasters, chemistry or physics somehow were certain they knew exactly how a skyscraper should behave after being hit by a plane going full speed.

These newborn experts just knew something wasn't right. The towers acted more like buildings laced with explosives than buildings that had just been hit by what was essentially a missile. I believe this self-anointed "expertise" is what drives a lot of the 9/11 conspiracy movement. Of course, the other part that drives that movement is the very real, very obvious criminal behavior of the Bush thugs. So I don't want to be too harsh on these overnight 9/11 experts. Being suspicious that the Bush criminal regime had a direct hand in 9/11 is forgivable, because it's been proven over and over, more each day, that they fabricated a war. Suspecting them of orchestrating something comparatively small like 9/11 is understandable.

i hope this thing blows wide open. i mean there is footage of NYC firefighters , experienced ones, in the documentary, stating that they heard controlled demolition. in the buildings. and seriously, all the gold underneath is unaccounted for? this was an act of heinous mass murder and DOMESTIC terrorism. the truth will get out, and i have a feeling that it will be paradigm shattering for many many people here in the US.

And the concept is not unheard of.
I also watched interviews of structural engineers the day or two afterward, and they were wondering how the collapse happened the way it did.
