Apple lost the lawsuit filed after the iPod nano owners complained that the glossy music devices scratched too easily. During the lawsuit Apple silently added a slip case into the product packaging, to try and resolve the complaints. Apparently those who bought nanos without the slip case get $25 back from Apple and people who got a nano with a slip case are eligible to $15 back.
