Ex-Eastenders hardman Ross Kemp has a whole legion of new viewers for his show, Ross Kemp in Afghanistan, but the fans aren't watching it for entertainment purposes, they're watching it to familiarise themselves with his face, to help them identify him as a target.Apparently pirated DVDs of his Sky One show have been appearing on bazaars in and around the area, and he's convinced they're snapping them up to identify him so they can kill a profile journo which would be sure to get them more notoriety:
“They know if they shoot and kill a journo it will be front-page news, whereas a soldier is just a paragraph.”
And it seems he's not far wrong...
“In Musa Qala we were only in the bazaar ten minutes before a suicide bomber was sent to try to kill us.”
Maybe the Taliban are just a bit pissed that he left Walford without giving his Mum a proper goodbye... I doubt it and wonder if he'll be doing another series...?

That is the excitement though, If he does get taken out it makes for great TV, great ratings for skyone. new plotlines in eastenders and Ross dies a very brave man. I am not saying I am rooting for the taliban but...

I watched an episode of Kemp's show this weekend and I was totally shocked by what he and his crew were doing. To be honest, I'd was afraid he'd be shot right there on camera.
