Target Women is a recurring segment on Current TV's weekly television show, infoMania. In each episode of Target Women, Sarah Haskins takes a look at the often-ridiculous way the media reaches out to women.
infoMania is a half-hour satirical news show that airs on Current TV. The show puts a comedic spin on the 24-hour chaos and information overload brought about by the constant bombardment of the media. Hosted by Conor Knighton and co-starring Brett Erlich, Sarah Haskins, Ben Hoffman, and Sergio Cilli, the show airs on Thursdays at 10 pm Eastern and Pacific Times and can be found online at current.com/infomania. I'm in between this episode's face- painted-Sarah or the weddings episodes' bridezilla-Sarah for funniest Sarah. which is good. i was scared that for a while. unfunny episode followed by retrospective special, uh oh. i'm glad everything is right again.
-
I don't know if you've seen this on YouTube Sarah, but this advert for a chocolate bar is proving popular in the UK.
-
The opening slaaaaaayed me. "The Beatles? Obama? Careful, haha.. "
That legs-in-the-air shot is just shameless, holy cow.
Portraying chocolate as "molesty wind" (ahahaha) struck me as an... unusual cinematic choice, but I guess it's pretty run of the mill as far as WIZARD CHOCOLATE GOES! ...because that was clearly the Hogwarts Express.
-
/!\ ALSO, HEADS UP: /!\ 100 calorie pack oreos and those oreo candy ball things are NOT WORTH IT. They taste like cardboard. Just stick with two or three actual oreos, less often!
-
May favorite part was the molesting chocolate wind!

Laughing so hard, I could barely finish off my bag of Reese's mini-cups.
Time to go bowl off some fat.
Thanks loads. -
Speaking of mushrooms... chocolates with mushrooms are fun ;) Here comes the psychedelic carousel!
Yay chocolate!
-
my skin is chocolate...that's why chiks dig me.
-
Sarah Haskins is brilliany! This is really really good stuff
-
Chocolate does get "targeted" towards women a lot, though real, masculine chocolate does exist. Maybe I'll stock up on Yorkie bars to go with my flannel shirt collection. </sarcasm>

let's talk about chocolate letdown...when the bliss and ecstasy just aren't there. The Hershey's is waxen. The Dove's did not transport. Then maybe we'll have to resort to sex.
-
Hah! Looks like the eating chocolate face is kinda like the jewelry face. (I have to agree with the above commenters, the harder an ad tries to convince me that I'll feel indulged by a chocolate, the less likely it is to happen.)

Fantastic! You should do a segment on moisturizer commercials. They're almost as ridiculous as the chocolate ones.
