Ad Campaign Attacks Environmentalists

bahahaha!! yes.... while the fools think we are saving the planet, we are really just driving the decent god fearing folks into greater debt all the while we accumulate more and more glorious money!! oh wait thats the bush administration...

Ugh, Ignorance is bliss...at least for the short term anyway.

I've posted this excerpt before, but I think it illustrates the reason why people don't accept climate change as a fact.

I thought the following passage from the award -winning-masterpiece "The Gods Themselves" would be appropriate. It's brilliant and was written in 1972.

"Practical Politics-and the death of a world" By Isaac Asimov

Yeah, tell that to someone who has cancer from their coal laden toxic waterways that can't afford their medical bills. Are they going to pay them? Are they going to foot the bill for another coal ash spill? The costs of doing business as usual far outweigh any costs of doing nothing. These people are desperate and stuck in a rut, and it is killing us.

I don't understand why people would not want to progress technology and science EVEN IF you can convince yourself that climate change is a lie. They said something about "raising unemployment" in this video...does that make sense? Aren't 'green jobs' the new idea in America? C'mon people, there are a million reasons why the environment needs to be protected, why technology needs to be greener and why we should care about the earth and everything that's living here!

While I agree and am not trying to provoke anyone; your basic argument can be made for a host of technologies. Many of those technologies are strongly opposed by various groups.

This martini sipping, cookie eating young man doesn't know what he's talking about. France financed the making of solar panels which created a new industry with thousands of new jobs and decreased energy bills. Our country should promote programs like this one. Isn't it time people like this arrogant young man get their priorities straight?
