President Al Gore Won't Be Missed

Image...
No one thought Al Gore would be a loveable president, but, after eight years in the White House, he has gotten truly tiresome. The droning voice, the purchase of an eco-friendly robot dog, the campaign for carbon-free diamonds - all these things were hard to take, and he has been way too smug about reversing global warming. I think we've gone too far in the opposite direction, especially in light of the glacier that recently crushed Wasilla.

I think I started to dislike Gore when he stirred up a media storm after the Feds broke up the terrorist ring conspiring to fly airplanes into buildings back in 2001. He could have let it pass quietly, as Bill Clinton did with the millennium plot arrests in 2000. Instead, Gore held a press conference to milk it for political gain and scare us into a 15 cent per gallon gas tax. But who can afford to pay over a dollar and a half per gallon? No wonder we're resorting to electric cars these days.

"Sure, President Gore knows CPR, hears like a German shepherd, and has the strength of 10 men - but we didn't need to see it."

This is a very glowing review of what would have been if Al Gore would have been President. I have more respect for him than just about any politician in Washington. We wouldn't have to be fretting over a stimulus bill, and our planet would be growing again. Instead........

Maggie, you've got a sharp wit and a def sense of humor. And that IS refreshing. Truely. Tina Fey & Alison and all the other Saturday Night Live from New York regulars must sure miss your correspondent about town
contributions. Whenever I drive my all electric, vintage 1997 GM E.V. 1 around Syracuse, New York they all marvel in awe. Especialy when they see my bumper sticker saying: "This is only my winter rat", "My all electric Rolls Royce is still in the shop for maintenence" Happy Valentine's Day.

I wonder how much Mr Gore has invested$$ on all these new "Clean energy" companies...
Someone is aiming for the billionaire´s club!

You guys tell me ...what would you do with $300.000.000 that Mr. Gore has WASTED on advertising Global warming??
How many trees could be saved...rivers cleaned...money given to research into to true efficient energy sources? Why you dont ask yourself that question? Why is marketing so much more important then the actual CURE!

    hummm...?

    (Excerpt)
I have no problem with being clean and green till the proposed solutions cause major problems with the economy, the environment and even the food supply and are based on scaremongering lies. Heck even the MSM is starting to notice the pipe dream of biofuels as food prices jumped up and even to start noting some actual scientists that are sceptics. Here's some news for you ethanol heads, it's a carbon based fuel just like gasoline, with the exception of elementals, hydro-carbons make all of life on earth and are the basic building blocks of energy and life.
I also paid enough attention to learn that the oceans, the sun, and various other gravitational related forces cause weather patterns, ie climate changes. I have learned lots about ocean currents, tectonic movement, sun spots, variations in orbit by the moon and heating and cooling cycles since the earth was formed. It is because of my knowledge that I am a sceptic of your claims Mr Gore and I would suggest it is your sycophants that are ignorant and close-minded. Here's the deal Al, if even this third rate blogger and lowly blue collar contractor can see through your scam, anybody can and their eyes are open, so your boondoggle has a major problem.
Al that $300,000,000 would do alot to help our National Parks if you really want to help the environment.

frimer you obviously have a mission to vilifying al gore?

why don't you focus your efforts on spreading your boasted of and commendable green lifestyle on your friends who could learn from it.. those efforts would actually be worthwhile. i gather you did not vote for gore in 2000? regardless .. i assume you also did not vote for bush? the first or second time and if you did? are you still glad you did? and do you have a problem at all with the bush failure?

The 2000 election, and the subsequent Supreme Court ruling in favor of Bush may have been the biggest turning point in the history of the world, atleast in America. The world would be a much different place had Mr. Gore been elected (which he was). The attacks of September 11 2001 would have been handled much more intelligently, and the problems of the world would have been looked at much more closely. To think back to the election is painful, especially considering what has happened since then. Let the flaming begin.........

Oh, I don't know...turns out Al Gore didn't need the presidency afterall to achieve worldwide effect. He had to transcend the entire US political system, but since justice failed, what was left? He works pretty well as a renegade superhero.

Al Gore tried to steal the presidency using lawyers and a corrupt florida court. It amazes me that after all this time people still believe the fairy tale that the commies and there slaves in the media have pushed.
I saw his movie it was half truths and outright lies and exagerations that made me laugh until i cried.

global warming is a scam a schem and Al is getting rich selling carbin credits which help the earth in no way.Wake up people your being used

i added humor to the category list... although i dont really find it funny so i added satire too. Gore is one of my heroes not only for his agenda/m.o. but for the controversy that he stirs with just his name. He shatters the parting glass between media america and real america... its up to us to crush that ugly media image of ourselves and build as if Gore had been our president.

"He works pretty well as a renegade superhero." Totally, he said himself that he thinks he can do more as a private citizen than as a public servant and so far, I'd say he's right. I'm glad he's still getting his message out there!

Sadly, Bush won through litigation to become our president. I feel our nation would have been much better off with Gore as our president. Bush become one of the least liked presidents in the history of our nation. He has left our country in a mess and the world dislikes us related to his leadership.

Bush in fact denied global warming even existed. I believe it took him 6 years to even admit that global warming was even a consideration. Even though the vast majority of scientist promote these ideas.

    "Useful idiots..."
    Lenin was so right..

Dont promote one man and his "ideas"! Promote yourself´s and your own ways....you dont need Gore to change the world and surely when he reaches the billion dollar mark on is bank account using you as his bitch i want to know what will you feel when you dont have any money to pay your electric bill..who will be laughing in the end?

    Gandhi knew this..

"Be the change you want to see in the world"
Promote awareness! Not some BS Lobby..
Promote your own life style...Post your daily Eco chores..help others do the same but because it makes sense not because someone tells you to...
Common sense should be your objective!
Say "This is how i do it"
Dont say "YOU HAVE TO DO THIS OR ELSE"

Cause people.. in the end we all want the same thing a better world to live in :-)

I have found my own little paradise and i only wish each and everyone of you find theirs too.

    Peace
