About the show:
From reviews of the newest releases to commentary on cult favorites and movie trends, each episode of The Rotten Tomatoes Show is a fast-paced, comedic journey through the week in cinema. Brett Erlich and Ellen Fox host the smartest, funniest movie show on TV. Premiering movies get the treatment, but so do DVD releases, trailers, childhood favorites, DVD extras, and film classics. Sprinkle in some irreverent Top 5 Lists and you’ve got the first movie review show to embrace the way we watch, talk, and over-talk movies. Viewer interaction will be a big part of each episode. By submitting webcam reviews, three word reviews, haiku reviews and comments through this site or responding to specific callouts and questions asked by the hosts during each episode, viewers will help define which films are "fresh" and which are "rotten."
From Wikipedia:
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is an upcoming film and the second live-action film based on the Street Fighter series of video games. It follows the quest of Street Fighter character Chun-Li, who is portrayed by Smallville star Kristin Kreuk.[1] The story follows Chun-Li's personal history and her journey for justice.[2] The film co-stars Neal McDonough as M. Bison, Chris Klein as Charlie, Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog, and Black Eyed Peas singer Taboo as Vega. Rick Yune was originally cast as Gen but has been replaced by Robin Shou, who played as Liu Kang in the Mortal Kombat films.[3] The film is scheduled for release in February 27, 2009.

Is Current getting paid by the network that released the film to motivate us, the audience, to watch and respond? Sure seems like it from your impetus to 'watch' the movie.

Sorry y'all I can't seem to get my technological shit together; getting echos or no sound at all. But the movie sucked. If you must watch it, bootleg it and buy a big bag of weed.

Ick, that might make it worse. What about a couple of 40's? That could make it better.
But seriously, you were right when you said this Street Fighter made the first one look good. That's something I had put in my sadly unfilmable review- The first one was laughable, but at least it made an attempt to give us the characters we know and love and they LOOKED and fought like them. Had to wait until the end of this new crapfest to hear about a fighting tournament? We're expected to see the SEQUEL to this? Jeeeeeeez.

Well, when I attempt a webcam upload directly from Current I get echoing vocals and when I go into my own webcam software I get no sound at all. I have a Dell running Windows XP with a built in SigmaTel Audio microphone.

Well, here it is. I hope it isn't too long. If this review can scare someone away who was honestly thinking of seeing the movie prior to watching this, then I can sleep soundly tonight. To everyone else? If I can get a nod of agreement, a chuckle, and a smile then I will know that suffering through this movie was worth it.

The best review...pretty much summed it all up from beggining to end...from chris klien to the jean claude SF movie...to them trying to set up another one... oh and the last time robin shou was around was mortal kombat wasn't it? well anyway I really enjoyed the review because I went in the movie wanting to love it but it sucked!!

Thank you for the kind words Mannydoomnj. I think Robin Shou had a brief bit in the DOA movie, but yeah. He was Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat. He may even have a cameo in the upcoming MK movie. Yeah... they're making another one.

Well, I'm actually seeing the movie for FREE today, AND I have a webcam, so I might as well review it. Beware, I am a general nerd and that comes with the nerd attitude that no movie adaptations are ever good enough.

I don't have a webcam. Would it be possible to upload a WMV file? While it wouldn't be the same, it would be similar to my video review of the movie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OT3JMJfyZW8) minus the swearing. I think I could

Oh I am. I don't want to get too elaborate or fancy for this submission. So it's just going to be the camera on me, going over what I think. If it's good, maybe I can add a little more flare to the review in the future.

That movie isn't even playing in any theater, anywhere near me. And even if it was, I would not pay to see it. If I had the flu, and was at home all day puking into a little plastic trash can, and this film was on TBS, I would change the channel in the hope that Discovery Channel would have something on about sharks rather than watch this film through bleary eyes and vomit tears. Why? Because I would probably become bored with it. And when you're puking in a trash can, your standards for boring are drastically altered. I would watch paint dry while I've got the flu and vomiting.
I thank my relative isolation in the woods of Maine for sheltering me from films such as this.

If you tuned away from Chun Li towards Discovery Channel this weekend, you'll find a Man vs. Wild in which Bear Grylls has to drink his own pee to get through the first 45 minutes of this terrible, terrible film I just saw. SPOILER ALERT.
