The Islamic faithful come, refuse to assimilate into the culture of the adopted country, yet insidiously start imposing and enacting their practices upon those who gave them refuge within their society. Those tactics must be denied, or there will be no welcome...a stand must be made.!

We all very quietly know who has been running into our churches and other religious institutions asking for shelter. The moslems kill more of their own Moslems than all the other countries and religions COMBINED.

Amen, igordy Thank you for that post, well stated. I hope all of us American's who are born here listen up, this is a person who didn't have the freedoms we hold dear in his country. He comes here and shows more love for America than most of us who have done very well in a free economy. If Obama continues to take over the areas of society he deems not to be working correctly, then it is a short drive to a communist state. Wake up people, it's coming if we sleep, if we think Obama is a messiah and we are waiting for the change and everything coming out perfect. Do we want state ran banks? Do we want state ran oil industry? Do we want state ran anything? NO! A thousand times NO!!!!!!! We the People is still the strongest force in this country by our vote, by our knowledge, by our actions, by our support of candidates who understand the score and who vote for America rather than for some New World Order. We want politicians who keep the facts and history straight. No politicians that re-write history the way they like. Not allowing Congressmen to vote one way, then a month later saying they voted the other way and get by with it. Where is our media, the media that used to be a watchdog for the masses. The newsprint that you could trust as being truthful keeping yellow journalism where it belongs.

Today we have the Internet and sites just like this one where anyone who has a computer can express their opinions. This is a powerful tool, one that we don't want the federal government coming in and taking over under the guise of protecting our children from pornography. I'm a parent, I protect my children thank you very much. I don't need big brother coming in to take over my parenting duties.

Obama has a change.org web site where you can go and e-mail the President directly, or so it says. I have addressed several issues to him and all I get back is a canned response that doesn't say anything. Now, I know he cannot answer all e-mails but why have a site like that if you are not going to do anything but give out a pre-written responses that have nothing to do with the topic. It's smoke and mirrors for the magician, the worker of spells. Hitler did some very similar things, but Obama is NO Hitler, I mean that is ridiculous. Gun control would be the next thing to do if he was a Hitler kind of man. Oh, his newly appointed head of the FBI is anti-gun to the max and with a democrat led congress Obama can do just about anything, hum? The watcher needs to be watched.

Whoever wrote this article or report, seems to be a non committed fence sitter who will not say anything positive or negative one way or the other. Therefore, the neutral stance does not address the fact that the only reason the Moslems are in so many different countries is because they deeply dislike where they came from. Or, could it possibly be that they are conspiring to be in every country so that they can help establish Islam world wide? If so, do they really expect everyone to see the light of Islam after all the blood and rapes and tortures and massacres and bombings and assassinations in almost every single country? Do they really think people will, "Oh yes! Of course I would love to join the rapists and the killers." Not!
Much more likely it is, that they want to be ready to chop some heads off when they hear that the public hater being murdered.
But remember, never say anything negative even while they blindfold you and you hear family screams. It will probably be a trick recording. Never take a stance, you might commit yourself and be lost forever.

I am so pleased to see that not all the blogs on Current are those of the left - perhaps it is a natural counter-balance reaction to the uber-left currently running our country into the ground. Well, I hope the populace in US starts waking up. They need to see more of what is happening in Europe and decide whether they want the same for themselves and their children. Unfortunatly, we have a long way to go to remove the ills of our "free" society from our midst - forced acceptance of underperforming minority kids into colleges, bypassing the more eligible and let's just say - smarter kids, political correctness, labor unions, open borders, citizenship grants to illegals who come here to give birth, unbalanced trade "partnerships", lifetime overprivileged benefits for "public servants" and their families, etc, etc, etc. I know you guys and gals can probably add a dozen or more other excesses of our society, which on the surface might look benign, but in actuality exibit the behavior of boat anchors. Well, the Hussein administration is not addressing any of these ills. Instead, they go after the well functioning "don't ask don't tell" military principles, allocating millions of your and my money to bring the displaced Gaza residents to the US (the same ones who voted for Hamas), seeking compromises with the psychopaths in Iran, etc, etc, etc. This in fact exhibits the behavior which is completely opposite to what the rational public wants. By redistricting the DC area they are hoping to solidify their re-elections. By refusing to prove Hussein's consitutional right to hold his office they shit all over our constitution, by helping the illegals they hope to gain more constituency, completely ignoring the fact that these illegals could care less about the US. I came to this country legally some years back. I am a citizen and consider myself a patriot. Having lived behind the iron curtain, I certainly have a certain breadth of experience, which allows me to appreciate and love America that much more. But what I see happening to this country breaks my heart. The failed 70-year socialist experiment in USSR did not serve as an example for the Pelosi's of this world. The 60 or so years of struggle of Israeli people to live as a free and secure society did not persuade the world of who is the aggressor and who is the victim in the Middle-East. The 9-11 is already forgotten in the islamo-appologist's fervor to be all loving and all-human. What do we do now, how do we go to the America of prosperity, security, freedom without excesses? I am not sure. One way to start is to involve more and more people into our discussions, show them the flip side of the coin - the one CNN doesn't want them to see. Educate our children right - and I mean right, despite the forced euphoria of Obamism in our public schools and colleges. I certainly do this with my kid, who is barely a teen, but I feel has a descent understanding of the issues - at least within the teenager's limited world perspective.

Muslims in the Netherlands are not demanding laws to protect them for discrimination, they are demanding laws that enforce their religious beliefs on the non muslim majority. People who disagree with them are accused of "insulting" muslims are targeted for legal action and/or murder.

The immigration issue in the US is a touchy topic. Not many American's want to pay social security benefits to illegal aliens. No-one except politicians think they will become a large voter population. What we have to understand is the diversity within Muslim people is as diverse as people of any faith. There are many different peoples, ideals and communities within any religion. To blame 9/11 on any Muslim that walks by is a horrible and stupid thing to do. In other words we should NOT blame all Muslim people for the actions of a few. It takes more energy, more thought and definitely more brain power to look past the color of a person's skin or the nation of their birth or the religion they practice and see the person within for who they truly are. One good way of evaluating someone is to watch what they do, how they carry themselves and how they care for children and pets. Give a man a puppy who is jumping all over him and who is so happy he pees on him and see how he reacts. It will tell you volumes about that person.

Freedom is central to our country. But in order to truly be free you must allow the other man his freedom, too. As though anyone grants freedom other than God.

I worked for a black man who is a physician. He was well respected in his field, he was asked to give speeches all across the US on HIV. I love him as a friend and colleague. He told me that when he drives his BMW home or to work he very often gets stopped and questioned by a rookie cop about what he is doing in that nice car. The cop's assumption is that the car was stolen and he was the perp simply because he is black. And do you want to know something real weird, it made him angry at first, but not anymore because he knows he is free of prejudice and knows this rookie cop has a lesson or two to learn. Cops MUST learn how to separate the crime from the color.

I admit that after 9/11 it took me several months to put my head back on straight. I had such anger toward "those people". In soul searching I realized I was not angry at Muslims just those crazy Mo'fers who did such a thing. It just so happened the people who did that were Muslim and they interpret their holy book in a way that condones murder. Condemning the religion and the people who follow it for the actions of a few is wrong. We don't condemn all Catholics because a person who committed a horrible crime belonged to a Catholic church, do we?. It's the same thing. Pretty ridiculous when looked at that way.

All these Nations mentioned are being systematically
weakened & destroyed economically & moraly by the
huge population of muslims & other illegal immagrants.
The United States under Pelosi, Reid, Obama, franks,
etc...are on the same path, With Congress introducing
legislation to allow Illegal Immagrants to actually apply
for & receive Social Security! These Immagrants especially muslim refuse to learn the ways or abide by the rules of the nation they slink into! They want the nation & the people to change to their ways, If that was & is the case the raghead bastards should stay
in their country of birth! They are like a plague on the
