Skittles homepage turns to Twitter

Skittles has taken a huge leap of faith in social media and replaced its homepage with a feed from Twitter. So when you turn to Skittles.com you get, what everyone on Twitter is saying about Skittles in 140 characters. Most of the discussion seems to be about Skittles changing their homepage, but perhaps when the intial fuss dies down, we'll see people really talking about Skittles in everyday life.

It's a brave move and I wonder how long the experiment will last and how many other brands will be brave (or perhaps stupid) enough to really let their consumers speak for them?

      Twitters kinda pointles when you have a bebo or facebook though.
      I still have not figured out what its USP is.
