Projecting pornographic films inside shared taxis is becoming a widely popular phenomenon in Nairobi. Citizens have complained that drivers are putting porn on their in-car digital video players, whether or not the passengers want to watch it. While playing porn is contrary to traffic laws, the drivers argue that their customers know they can find that sort of entertainment on the shared taxis and that it helps business.
