Yay for Zhaan making #32! And Samantha Carter rockin' out at #27, nice. I'm surprised Scully wasn't in the top 10, y'all know she still gives you a big old nerd boner. Big kudos to Leeloo making lucky #13. Not to mention how great it is to see Rose Tyler all the way at #10! And there couldn't be a better #1 than Princess Leia.

This list rules! A couple omissions though: Kara Thrace from Battlestar! You had 3 BSG ladies on the list, but not Starbuck? And I love Zhaan, but to choose her and leave Chiana and of course the gorgeous Aeryn Sun off the list? For shame.

Okay, totally agree with including Number Eight and Scully--but no Starbuck? How can you not include Kara Thrace!?

Crack and Smack. UGO: UWENT., UGONE ! Last Summer UGO also posted a top 50 list. I didn't notice any date of posting on this article, but it sure looks an aweful lot like the one I blogged from 2008. When they
deemed to pick animation characters over living human actresses... especialy after they left out realy solid people like Jane Heitmeyer, Monika Schnarre, Emanuelle Vaugier, and Krista Allen to name several missing from their list...Well, at the rate they're going, they'll need a top 100 before they stop unfailry excluding worthy people. I didn't notice any of the
regular woemen from the Smallville TV series either. That realy sucks too. When they start leaving out people like Kristin Kreuk, Erika Durance, and Laura Vandernoort, it makes me suspect they're blind, deaf, and dumb. Even the lady who played Clark Kent's mother during the first half of the episodes was superhot in her time. The makers of Smallville chose her because she was in the 80s Superman movie lineup as the character of Lana Lang. They also left out Stacy Hadyuk too who played Lana Lang in one earlier TV series about Superman, and also in Seaquest, Brimstone etc. So arbirtrary.

oh yes! gotta have number 6, scully, and leeloo (i <3 milla), but i would have been very upset if barbarella wasn't on there. i do think jenny agutter as jessica from logan's run should be on there :)
