Therapeutic use of marijuana has a history spanning over 4,500 years. The most humane and just approach to helping the sick requires that we continue the availability of medical marijuana. Evidence supporting medical marijuana for appetite loss, glaucoma, nausea, vomiting, spasticity, pain, and weight loss is quite impressive.

    • Marijuana benefits are still being researched and revealing new applications. No medical research was used to prohibit marijuana. Just Reefer Madness stories which were lies published in Hearst newspapers, were used to scare the public into prohibition. Dupont wanted hemp out of the picture, to sell their nylon. Harry Anslinger the drug agent was a stooge puppet for Hearst and Dupont, he was taken care of.

    • Big Pharma needs to be removed from this scenario so that widespread medicinal MJ use can prove to enough people that real healing benefits are being ignored & kept from prospective patients by mainstream medicine. So many people could benefit at this point if we'd only stop buying into the "Reefer Madness" propaganda.

      Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it, especially if you’re not getting the healthcare you feel you deserve. Today, everyone needs to be their own healthcare advocate & not just by asking their doctor about the latest Rx they saw advertised.
