Zimbabwe's prime minister, Morgan Tsvangirai, has said he thinks there was "no foul play" in the crash that killed his wife and left him in hospital.
Speaking to mourners outside of his home, Tsvangirai said:
"In such incidents there is always speculation but in this case I want to assure you that if there was any foul play it would probably be one in 1,000. It was an accident which unfortunately took a life. I am sure that life has to go on and I'm sure she (wife Susan) would have liked for life to go on."
The crash occured on Friday when a truck collided with Tsvangirai's vehicle on a pothole-ridden highway between Buhera and Harare. Many Zimbabweans are suspicious about the incident, which happened just a month after Tsvangirai joined a coalition government with Mugabe.
