OK... I'm posting this article not because I want to find out the answer to that ridiculous question (because it's NO). I'm posting this because articles like this make me nuts. It's clearly based entirely on some PR push from Transform Medical Group. Does any woman honestly think that spending thousands on fake boobs is really going to improve their job security? No. The claims in this piece are so far fetched and ridiculous that I had to share.-

While I would answer "no" (at least in the industries in which I current do the hiring, law and telecommunications), the reason is kind of pathetic. So few of the applicants I see have even the most basic communications skills that I could not discriminate on the basis of boob size even if I were inclined to do so. When 20 people apply for a professional position and only two of them manage to send a cover letter and resume that are readable and contain no more than one or two spelling or grammar mistakes, I really don't care whether the remaining two (assuming they are both women) have had breast augmentation, breast reduction or double mastectomies (I don't mean to be flippant with that last bit -- just want to illustrate how little breasts matter), the job is going to go to the one who can speak as well as she writes (naturally, one of the remaining two resumes reads so well because the applicant had someone else write it or edit it). I understand there is a debate going on as to whether this loss of communications skills is a result of poor schools, poor teachers, poor parenting, or kids who think that the "texting shorthand" they use is actually the English language. All that really matters is that jobs are scarce.

Boob jobs will not be much of an advantage if the woman is unattractive, case in point, how often do you see an unattractive female receptionist? More often than not the women that work in any office where there will be considerable contact with the public, are well groomed and attractive. Look at all of your women on TV, Ads, Cable News stations, Local News stations, Law offices, Politician aides, etc. Other than Candy Crowley, how many overweight women do you see holding any position in the public eye? I am not dissing Candy, I think she is sexy as hell.

I wouldn't hire anyone for their looks... uh wait, yes I would. I do many things that REQUIRE good looking people. so yeah, I would hire a girl 'for' her boobs. but that's for film, photography... modeling or whatever.

Damn the media, and all the pressure for women.men need to learn to control their urges and hire women not on how attractive they are, but how intelligent, and determined they are!
but anyways, i heard after years women who have boob jobs, there breast become hard, or something?
is that true? - 11 months ago

Erm....not being funny but how would you find out a candidate has had a boob job? Would you stare at them for the purpose of the interview? Would it be in their resume?
Frankly only an idiot employer would hire someone because they had a boob job.

Actually, Danmarks, I assume MoonLoon IS from the UK!
Consider Keely Hazell, Lindsay Dawn McKenzie, Lucy Pinder, Natalie Jay, etc. I rest my case. But the USA is guilty, too, but the favorites here are more like the "death camp survivor" models as found in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. They all look like they're suffering from cocaine withdrawal..... - 11 months ago

my wife has a near cartoonish boob job and I would say that it certainly helps her job security. Though her job is as a dominatrix. Though I would be lying if I didn't say that it helps her to gain advantage in just about every single other aspect of her life from getting out of tickets to getting doctors to write her prescriptions for drugs she doesn't medically need. Ahhh science.

Boob jobs help if you are a hooker or a stripper, otherwise it is probably a wash. With that said, it does seem that people are hardwired to give favorable first impressions to attractive people.
Big boobs alone do not make someone attractive. How one carries their self, with confidence and assurance, often determines attractiveness.

"Uni" you may have hit on a good point. The confidence and poise derived from this medical procedure must yield some benefits, otherwise, the business would stop growing.

No, I am not. Are men in the U.K. not attracted to women with "big boobs"? I have lived in Scotland where many women have strong legs and big asses, but not so many apparent boob jobs.

It is true. We men are hard wired to respond to women with "big boobs". I, personally try to resist the urge to stare and give them preference. However, it is a challenge. I despise the cosmetic breast implant industry. Except for medical reasons. Our society is so enamored with steroid boys/girls, implants, nose jobs face lifts, etc. it is disgusting. Are there any real people left out there?

ten years ago..yes. Now i think we've grown up. but women like to have nice looking guys in the work place and I enjoy eye candy too. But if that eye candy can't do the job, then I only have 4 minutes for them.
