Political correctness has reached European Parliament, and it's now against the rules to refer to a female MEP as anything other than her full name. The ban includes continental titles as well, such as Madame and Mademoiselle, Frau and Fraulein and Senora and Senorita. They're putting this in to effect just in case the titles offend female MEPs. It seems weird to me that not being addressed with some sort of title, but instead your full name, is less offensive or more professional. The only time anyone ever calls me my full name is my mom when I'm in deep trouble. What do you think about this PC move?-

Depends; how do they normally refer to men?

Surely this is the opportunity that the "mumble disguised as a word"; Ms, has been waiting for!
By dropping Miss and Mrs, should this be "Ms's" time to shine.

Not a great solution, but I do think that it is ridiculous that we differentiate between Miss and Mrs, but not Mr and well, Mr.
