The majority of the population does not surround their lives with the information and concepts being presented by this outlet but for those of us who care and are dedicating our lives for the betterment of the globe on multiple levels don't need this. I'm losing faith in you Current. Please don't think we are stupid, your original target audience will not put up with another Jon Stewart humor hour when the issues we are fighting and the problems our culture has created are serious. We need progress not a regress to the same shit we see day in and day out. Humor sells, but humor doesn't save lives or fight real oppression.

I think not only Twitter is annoyingly abused, but a very close second is the Facebook status updates. I agree with the line that Twitter is, "People randomly bragging about their unexceptional lives." It won't matter how many times I bring it up or how many times I post this video saying to "Stop it", people won't take a hint. I know its mostly harmless, but it annoys the stuffing out of me.

Also, it has been proven to get away from a failwhale is to ride on a ROFLcopter.

Like everyone else, when I first heard about twitter, I thought it was idiotic. But it's pretty great for business.

Plus, I've made some friends (and worthwhile business contacts) in real life who I met via twitter....so how does that fit into the thinking that if you're on twitter, you have no friends?

Still this is a great cartoon I think I'm guilty of a "sushi tweet" though. Very dead-on.

Very funny. I agree Twitter would be better without the follow / unfollow madness. I use twitter to follow artists, designers, animators. I get put onto more things by the creatives I follow on twitter than any other social media network. How long will twitter's momentum last - who knows and who cares. Anywho, great animation!

When I first saw the appeal of current I was really concerned about when what I liked about current would sell out to the shit of the world like "CrapDonalds"!
They would have to stick their corporate noses into the indie vibe of this channel to put their stamp on it. Mark my word, we'll see current go from what MTV was like in the beginning and morph into the piece of shit MTV is now.
The draw of big money will also be what influences what current is and who watches it. The same kids brain damaged by watching the ads and eating the absolute worst food in the world.
