Detroit's Underground Resistance

re-size
Underground Resistance is Techno's original highly efficient, aggressive and very strategic minded unit with an extreme approach to image and marketing whose mobile and fiercely competitive company is not dependent on trends, gimmicks or fads as are other forms of music and their related industries are today.

So great to get insight on one of Detroit's most notorious and evasive labels. So great to get a peek into this amazing label! Nice!!!

Saw a UR show in Detroit during DEMF a few years ago. They killed it. I became a true believer then. Thanks for the great piece, TK! They well-deserve the recognition for their work. Revolutionary!

This pod is dope dope dope!! I can't stop watching it. These guys are really hitting it on the head with the "truth behind music" - how techno music embodies and defines us. The interviews here are real, powerful and inspirational. They describe the whole reason why I got into the business of promoting electronic music... when you get it, you really get it.

"365 days ago, I never liked techno, I wasn't into it, I didn't understand why people enjoyed it so much, but I saw how energetic people were when they heard the music we were performing and they described how techno changed their lives. It was life changing for me."

Life after electronic dance music is glorious. Good work Current and UR!
