learnfree.org just about sums it up...!
-
I still think Strongbad summed up the internet in the best fashion - "the internet is a place where absolutely nothing happens." nice editing.

OMG i fucking love hits its soo funny and your other vids just brilliant stuff dude makes me laugh :P I mean i have no idea how to wash a spoon XD
-
Is anyone else annoyed at how double utensil wash lady keeps the water running? That's the first thing I was told not to do when washing dishes! Don't let the water run!
-
THIS is exactly the sort of s**t that's responsible for my total loss of faith in humanity.
-
This is EXACTLY the kind of thing that restores my faith in humanity. To think that all these people are out in the world and care SO DEEPLY about the rest of us that they want to ensure that even those who are so pathetic that they cannot figure out how to use DIFFERENT KINDS OF SOAP (!!!) are brought up and out of their dark places so that they too can aspire to clean two spoons with one swoop (or mate with their furniture...whatever flips their switch, you know?) so they take the time and make the effort to put these instruction videos up on the 'net is frankly inspiring and not a little moving...
-
After watching that, "I have no brain". Good stuff, Brett.
-
Loved it....the clip on the homemade sex toys! Nip/Tuck this season had a Dr. who had a sexual proclivity with furniture. Here is a clip on UT showing this Dr. getting it on with a couch!
-
This is just FAB five stars
-
Could we see the bits you edit out?
-

That pod on how-to videos reminds me of a new media project I did in college last year when myself and fellow student Estela made a three-minute film on how to make a cup of tea.
Enjoy...
-
oh please! You cannot be serious! How to make a cup of tea!?@#$!? DO you honestly think that there are people out there that can competently use a PC but are completely incapable of deciphering the art of tea making? I seriously wonder about your state of mind.

This video comes across as being edgy for the sake of being edgy. Like jclont said, some people *don't* know how to do simple things like wash dishes. And even if it is a video about doing something that arguably everybody knows how to do, it's still worthwhile. Maybe they have some practical detail that some people don't know about. Maybe just viewing some ritualized everyday task in detail can be interesting and poignant.
Hell, I don't know how to use a fax machine either. I don't see anything wrong about making a video about fax machines (or any other "dated technology).
Also, TF2 reference at 0:37.
