Brilliant! You had my cracking up at the beginning all the way through. It's also my age group... I got ALL the cracks and jokes. Keep em' coming!
Thanks
-
The intro reminded me of the old animated shorts I use to see on PBS.
-
Wow. I found that incredibly sad - but brilliant too. MTV no more :-(
-
I thought it was sad as well; I remember what MTV was. Now I just pass the channel by because they never have anything worthwhile on and much less music.

I stopped watching when Justin Timberlake won best video over Johnny Cash's moving hurt video. Even the vapid whore that is "JT" realized that it was a mistake and apologized when he got the award. I turned the channel and haven't had any urge to tune back in. They should be called JTV, Just TV.
-
A well aimed shot at the place where the music died.
Here's the first video MTV ever played. -
the narrator reminds me of liam neeson when he says, "whenever they catch you, they will kill you." lol
-
Reality Shows killed MTV! I really don't care since I stop watching MTV years ago thank god for Comedy Central's Daily Show and Colbert Report!
-
I remember telling my friends back when I was in Jr. High, when The Real World first aired, that would be the end of MTV. I didn't actually think it would deviate into what it has become today. Funny though. But like it's been said, a bit sad too.

Why do they bother calling it MTV when there essentially isn't any music videos on anymore? I mean there's thousands of videos by now, or at the very least have documentaries on bands or famous music places/events. Now we are relegated to trash like "The Hills" and other reality shows on there. They just need to rename the station to something else, as the name MTV is more scrutinized than anything now.

Music and music television are dead. We killed them.
-
Proves what went wrong with MTV now compare to 10 or 20 years ago...
-
The intro to Watership Down is possibly the greatest, most obscure pop culture reference I've ever seen.
I love you guys...

freaking brilliant!! funny and sad at the same time with the Watership Down treatment, and right on target. well done!
-
I loved the part where Michael drops the N-Bomb; that was awesome! Keep up the great work, guys! Maybe "nigger" isn't such a bad word after all; It doesn't offend anyone, right?

this was HILARIOUS, josh. but also painful in that way where you have to watch a movie about someone you love making ALL THE WRONG choices. let this be a lesson to us all.
-
MTV used to be the shit
I remember Liquid television, when they played Aeon Flux....

I think shows are fine for MTV. Afterall, we can get music videos anywhere now, especially rh emultipel other MTV channels. However I think that the problem is there are too many shows, and most are completely and utterly stupid. Real World I think does some good, depending on the season. If anyone has watched the Brooklyn season curretly airing, then you would know it.
Then of course they are coming out with the HIV/AIDS movie about Pedro from Real World (I think San Fran).
