    • it's really a great story that really needs to be shared. it's amazing to see this kind of work being done by people who others label as criminals. this sends a great message, not just about the environment, but also about the changes that are capable within us and other people as well.

    • Amazes me that so many people have no idea what it takes to grow an edible leaf. There is a satisfaction unequalled by any other when one can grow food.
      The challenge of this project transcends the gardening/farming aspect. Teach a man to fish...
      ///don't throw grain in his face...two old but nevertheless significant aspects of re-educating people who might have thought themselves out of time , space, and society.

    • well I am a little biased as my son was one of the team that worked on this. That being said I love this documentary-it was very enlightening for me. The thought of someone having never eaten fresh spinach, or simply never being able to "pick a leaf and pop it in her mouth" would never have occurred to me. This is a great story and one that needs to be shared. There is something so special about working the soil, our cities need more of these types of programs.
