Dear President Obama,Please implement this data base of patient comments on often deadly side effects of Pharmaceutical Drugs as a tool towards transparency in American Health care system.

Askapatient.com is an existing patient comments data base where you can look up information about Pharmaceutical Drugs and record your own experiences.
For example, here is the listing for Paxil where there are 684 ratings for the drug in the data base.
The average rating for Paxil is 2.9 out of a possible 5.

It is often frightening but it would be helpful for people to know what are potential side effects of the drugs they are being prescribed. This is especially worrisome to me since my older sister told me her doctor told her it was normal for people her age to be on 5 or more drugs at the same time.
This is a low cost part of the solution as the work has already been done. It would merely need to be expanded as a part of the ".gov" web system.
