As the economy worsens the "new homeless" search the streets for food and shelter. They are now being turned away in droves. They continue to wander the streets and stay in vacant lots, behind office buildings, parks and abandon homes. I met a couple who was turned away many times and are in economic shell shock. I helped them as much as I could but there are too many.

I've noticed a huge jump in homelessness in my hometown. We have a Nation Guard nearby that takes them in at night, usually. But lately I've seen tons of people in line outside before they even open...never saw that before this year!
